Welcome to Emily Hughes - Holistic Talking Therapy, and thank you for visiting my page. If you are here it's probably because you are looking for some assistance with something that doesn't feel quite right at the moment. Sometimes we can't put our finger on exactly what's wrong, other times we know very clearly, but whichever it may be for you, something within you is feeling out of balance and has bought you here today. We usually begin to experience some form of disturbance because something in terms of our well-being is out of balance. These disturbances can manifest them selves in many different ways, usually in unwanted behaviours or feelings for example anxiety, low self-esteem or addiction. Taking a holistic approach allows us to address you as a whole person, rather than just the disturbance alone. This encourages a deep understanding of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and makes way for permanent change, allowing you to truly experience balance within yourself.
How Can I Help?
By drawing from a range of talking therapy styles, a heart centred approach throughout and techniques such as Transformational Breathing, I will journey with you on your path to a deeper understanding of yourself, where you will be able to self soothe and work through whatever it is that needs some attention in a safe, confidential and non judgemental space.
Based at my beautiful Wellness company, The Wellness Barn, in Ingatestone, as well as our sessions, you will have access to a wide range of holistic treatments, classes and therapies that will compliment our sessions perfectly and help you along your way. These are of course optional, and I can assist you in making the best choice of treatments should you wish.
